1. Scope of Application

These General Terms and Conditions apply to the rental of the holiday apartment Hangstein Apartment by the landlord,

Lisa Runte,

Hangsteinstraße 60,

32760 Detmold,

to the tenant (hereinafter referred to as "Guest") for temporary use for recreational purposes. Any differing terms and conditions of the Guest are not recognized unless the landlord expressly agrees to their validity in writing.

2. Conclusion of Contract

The presentation of the holiday apartment on this website does not constitute a legally binding offer, but rather a non-binding invitation to submit offers by the guest. By submitting a booking request, the guest makes a binding offer to conclude a rental agreement. The contract is concluded when the provider confirms the booking request.

3. Rental Period / Arrival and Departure

The holiday apartment is rented exclusively for the period agreed upon in the rental agreement. The apartment is available from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, the apartment must be vacated and left clean and tidy by 11:00 AM at the latest.

4. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed, the invoice amount is due immediately upon booking without deduction.

Payments must generally be made in the currency stated on the invoice, unless a different agreement has been expressly made. If the customer defaults on payment, we reserve the right to charge default interest at the statutory rate and, if applicable, reminder fees. We also reserve the right to claim further damages for default.

5. Cancellations

The following cancellation policy applies:

  • Cancellation up to 5 days before arrival: Free cancellation.
  • Cancellation within 5 days of arrival: Full payment of the total price is required.

We will make every effort to re-let the apartment so that you incur no loss.

6. Guest Obligations / House Rules

The holiday apartment may only be occupied by the persons named in the booking confirmation. Pets are not allowed. The guest agrees to treat the apartment with care and to report any damage to the landlord immediately. Smoking is only permitted on the balcony. The house rules, which can be found in the guest information folder in the holiday apartment, form part of the rental agreement.

7. Liability

The landlord is not liable for the loss of the guest's belongings. No liability is assumed for disruptions or outages of the water, electricity, or internet supply, unless these are due to gross negligence or intent on the part of the landlord. The guest is liable for all damage to the rental property or its contents caused by him or his companions.

8. Termination by the Landlord

The landlord is entitled to terminate the rental agreement before or during the stay if the guest does not pay the rental price on time, grossly violates the house rules, or uses the apartment for purposes other than those agreed upon.

9. Data Protection Personal Data

Guest data is processed exclusively for contract fulfillment and will not be disclosed to third parties unless required by law or necessary for the execution of the rental agreement. Further information can be found in the privacy policy.

10. Changes to the Terms and Conditions

The landlord reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be published on the website and will come into effect upon publication.

11. Final Provisions

German law applies. The place of jurisdiction is, to the extent legally permissible, the landlord's place of business. Should individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
